Glass and Mirrors

Both glass and mirrors are difficult construction materials to work with because they require precise measurements. When you call us, we’ll try our best to work with you on your specifications as best we can to give you exactly what you need.

CATEGORIES OF GLASS:
1). Clear and Tinted Float Glass
2). Safety Glass
a). Laminated
b). Tempered

Often, clear or tinted glass will suffice for your needs. But Hawaii Building Codes do require the use of safety glass in some instances. We’ll help you with this issue if you
let us.

Laminated glass cost more but is sometimes necessary if you wish to have your work done immediately. Laminated glass is usually available in Hawaii, as is
wire glass. Customized tempered glass is not manufactured in Hawaii so it must be imported in from the Mainland.

We can also do polished, pencil polished, beveled, 0 to 60 mitered edges, patterns, oval cutting, holes, radius corners and more! Prices vary depending o your edgework, so ust ask…customerservice@akamaiglass.com

Domestic Clear Mirrors, Japanese Clear Mirrors, Domestic Tinted Mirrors, Safety Back Mirrors, Clear Laminated Mirrors, and “see-through” or Mirropane Mirrors are available in 1/8” or 1 /4” sizes, again with different edgework such as seamed and polished.
